Deprogramming ?

Thanks for the answers to my search for direction. I feel like I need

to be deprogrammed or something. The concepts of the program are

really sounding like a religion or cult to me when I remove myslef

from them. My fear is that groups like this are just as adamantly

trying to " get people to join " . Some of you sound pretty angry and I

can relate to being lead to believe something that is not true, but

it seems like this would be a freeing experience with lots of hope,

not a place to vent about how mistreated one was in " the program " . I

will continue to read with an open mind. Is the download of the

handbook for Lifesavers or SOS worth doing? Anybody using literature

that actually helps? I really am a " book-learning " person. There do

not seem to be any " real " meetings of this type where I live so will

rely on other sources to educate myself.
