I was dx with CFS before Fibromyalgia; about a year before. In 1990 CFS was just

becoming a popular, though misunderstood dx. For a while they thought they

always went hand in hand. I don't know if that's true today or not.

I had several illnesses before I was dx with Fibro. I had IBS, Hypothyroid,

ADD and Bronchial Asthma dx before I was 18. I had my tubes tied when I was 31

and noticed no change in my lifestyle. I had my last period when I was 40. At

the time I stopped my gyn called it stress related because of my home situation,

but he didn't know it would be permanent. Now I guess it was early onset

menopause. I was dx with Fibro when I was 42. I was already dx with Depression,

Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, DID and allergies..

I was over 50 before I was dx with Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, Acid Reflux and

slightly high blood pressure.

I don't know if menopause had anything to do with any of it.

QUESTION 1: Was anyone else diagnosed with CFS before being diagnosed

greater upsurge of symptoms after menopause, during or before onset?
