It lists such things as how much you are presently entitled to should you retire at 62, 65 (if not a baby boomer or later), 66 and I think even 70, should you decide to work that long. But it also shows how much credits you have for disability, what your child(ren) would receive if you should die and also what your spouse would be entitled to. If you haven't received such a statement, there is a website that you can use to request the form. If I am not mistaken, I used to get mine around the time of my birthday or perhaps they send them out in June or July (many governments have budgets that are from July 1st, rather than January 1st.
