I have one!

There is a band from Canada called Blue Rodeo - they are amazing -

I have been in love with the lead singer Jim Cuddy since Sara was a baby -

she is 25 (get the level of my committment?) -

I've gone to many concerts - could only look, never touch - UNTIL

I got to meet him - I was like a deer caught in the headlights - I had

nothing intelligent to say, I simply stared, mouth open, stunned, consumed

with love -

My friend poked me in the back and I came around long enough to say

something stupid, get an autograph and ask for a hug - I got my hug, but I'm

sure security was standing close by....

however, we wangled ourselves backstage one other time when they were

touring and Jim left cause he was sick (or scared, I'm not clear on that) -

so, I didn't waste time, I made friends with the Steele Guitar player, and

NOW, we email back and forth and NOW I have a lifetime supply of backstage

passes -

so, when they tour every two years, I'm there and Jim actually recognizes me

now, hopefully as a friend and not a stalker.......

It's not a biggy, but I'll take it.

I will write

him and ask. I have written him several times…he responds with a very

well written form letter…I am betting. Last contact was over the NIH

funding…which he is for BTW.
