Guest guest
Wow Judy, I will be starting Cymbalta this weekend. Being a zombie scares me because I am working full time, taking 2 online classes and trying to pack and move. I sleep really well on the Lyrica. No sleep would do me in! Gee I wonder if I should just be rested and fat! I started it last week at 30mg and just upped it last nite to 60mg. I think it might work out for me, but I have a huge problem of not being able to sleep. I've had very little sleep in a week. I'm a Zombie! Did you have any side effects like this when you started? My dr don't want to give me anything yet for sleep, he wants the med to take full effect. My understanding is that could be 1 - 4 weeks. I have a call into my dr now to see if I could take it in the morning instead of evening. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Theresa - Taking both of those drugs together might be the answer. The Cymbalta might counteract the weight gain on the Lyrica. Keep it in mind. BTW, how goes it with your bf? Are you all set to move out? Guest guest
Jeanne, I really should take them together. If my pain gets worse on Cymbalta only I will ask my doctor about that. As far as Mike goes, I am ready to move out. I am just waiting on my tax refund. I expect to file next week and get the money 2 weeks later. I brought home boxes yesterday and am going to start packing in my spare time. I told him I was moving AND breaking up with him and he is taking it ok now. I think he is already online looking for someone else lol. That doesnt bother me at all. I think we can still be friends. We are just living in the same house now.. that's all. I am keeping busy until I can move because I am working full time and taking classes online so we don't see each other that much anymore. I wont be posting that much in the next couple of months because I wont have time to read posts on here`. I will try to keep updated and will definitely let everyone know when I am finally moved... I cant wait! Theresa in Tn djgraves9497@... wrote: Theresa - Taking both of those drugs together might be the answer. The Cymbalta might counteract the weight gain on the Lyrica. Keep it in mind.
