Guest guest
Oh that explains it... a chiropractor. They seem to claim to have the cure for everything. Most of them are money mongerers who will say anything to keep you coming back to fill their pockets up. Boy, what an intelligent man. He needs to let the National Fibromyalgia Association know he has found the ONE cure. What a jerk. Debra V. I don't know about you guys but that has always caused me more pain and very long lasting, intense pain. He uses no drugs only this and massage. Doesn't sound like a cure to me. Sounds like a way to make alot of money. Who knows maybe it does work for a while for some people. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Guest guest
I noticed the cost of each treatment. I go to a chiropractor regularly, mostly because during my trial and error phase of doctor hopping, the ONLY thing that brought me relief was seeing a chiro regularly. I see mine every two weeks and I only pay $25 each visit. It's not a 'cure' but it certainly made the level of pain go wayyyyyy down. (for me anyway.) s.duke92 wrote: > I entered the site because I just have to check everything.(one of my > flaws). He is a chiropractor and clams to work with the c-1 vertibrae > to take away pain. Guest guest
Not my chiropractor. I've come a long way since seeing him. When I first went in there I was almost on my hands and knees crawling in, I was in tears from the pain. This was in fall of 2002. I still flare, but I can do most things and I now only visit the chiro every two to three weeks instead of once a week. My level of pain went way down since I started going regularly. He's been an answer to a prayer. But I had to go through four other chiropractors to find THE right one. Not all are this compassionate or attentive to your individual needs. They are just like medical doctors in the way that you have to find the one who is right for YOU, and even then, not everyone is meant for chiropractic treatments. It just works WONDERS for this little body. I couldn't live without it. They work with me and only charge me $25 per visit. This is not what they charge normal customers, but my insurance company was being a PITA so they let me pay what I can afford. I'd be willing to pay HUNDREDS if I had it, rather than stop going. Because after trying so many other things, this is the one thing that seemed to work for me. And if someone came up to me today and told me I had to stop going and could never go again unless I gave up my computer and chocolate, I'd say well then take my computer and chocolate because I can't live without my chiro! debra van ness wrote: > Oh that explains it... a chiropractor. Guest guest
I just wanted to say that amount of pain we suffer on a dailey basis along with all the other problems of FM, I must confess that there are days I would walk on hot coals if I really thought it would help. And to , we all have dark days but you have to tell yourself to push through it. Yea there are days I don't get out of bed and others that I just make it out. I most of the time do ok but, the little time I spend feeling bad and mad about the life I no longer have can send me to the wacko ward in no time. I just get mad at people who use someones illness to profit for their gain and no one else's. One thing has proven true over and over is no one gets it unless they got it!
