Guest guest Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 Hi all, I just noticed that in a post to Vicki and I said that I volunteer at a homeless shelter that I used to work at. I don't know what comes over my brain sometimes, but I say the wrong words a lot, even when speaking. I volunteer at an abused woman shelter that I used to work at. Most of them are homeless, but it's still not a " homeless shelter. " It's address is not given out and it's a safe haven for women who need to get away right that minute, or who have planned a way to get out. There is room for many women and their children to stay and get counseling while we help them with court battles, getting a job, finding a place to live, and whatever else they might need. They can continue to come to the counseling sessions after they have moved out if they want to. At any rate I wanted to correct that. Sorry about any confusion.
