I have been on 5mg of Deltasone for several years with occassional bumps up to 71/2 or 10mg. I have also used Imuran and Methotrexate. My CPK stays low and I can feel bad without having it elevated. I also have Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Asthma. Does anyone else have flare ups that require a bump in their cortisone without the CPK being high. Appreciate any replys. Thank you. My doctor realizes (thank goodness) that flares can occur even without blood elevations. Annette Polymyositis Flare I have had Poly for nine years or so.
