It's been about a week or so since I've written in--we've been busy with errands and a funeral in the family. Hello to the new moms!! I'm Fawn, mamma to Drake 17 mos, wife to . As many of you know we lost a baby 1 month ago. My dr had originally recommended we wait 1 cycle before trying again but at my check up last week he said it really was only for his 'dating' puropses that he recommends that and if it happened before not to worry. I haven't had any period yet. At that appt. (last Tue) they did a blood test to check that no preg hormones were still showing up--it was back to totally 0. Dh and I were intimate on Fri and Sat (maybe others, can't remember!!) and today I (for some reason, sixth sense??) took a test. It came out that I was pregnant!! At first the line was so faint that I thought I must be wishing it there but after a few more minutes it was a bit darker. The instructions said that if there was ANY line there at all that the hcg was present and to assume I'm preg. and not to view it after 10 minutes that sometimes a line will show up when you're not really preg. Well, it was well before the 10 min when i saw that faint line. I did not take it with my am urine, will do that tomorrow but wondered just how soon the hcg shows up. I know I was not preg last Tue and now apparently (hopefully!) I am........ Anyone know?? Thanks! Changed so fast I didn't have time to put it down. Micki Mom to Micah 1/12/

Guest guest
The Walmart test was correct for me within 10 days. I do believe this is the most sensitive test, besides having blood drawn. GOOD LUCK FAWN Chelly
Guest guest
Sorry Ladies, let me be more specific. The Walmart test was correct for me 10 days after ovulation/conception - before I even missed my period. Chelly
Guest guest
I'm using a Walgreen's brand of what reminds me of the ClearBlue Easy. Two lines=preg one line=not preg. I guess I'll do the other test in the am and see what it says and maybe wait and then go get the Confirm one at Wal-Mart. Thanks for the well wishes! Keep your fingers (and toes!) :-) crossed!! I'll let ya'all know! Fawn
