I have had severe Endometriosis for years and on 11/26/2007 had a complete hysterectomy with bowel resection due to the endo having blocked off 95% of my bowel (you want to talk about pain, that was the worst!!!!! not the surgery the blockage) As far as the Endo and surgery goes I feel great now but since then I have had the muscle aches, and the almost constant lack of energy/being tired. > > I am not sure if this makes sense so please give me opinions. I do not sleep well, a typical night is go to bed around 10 or 11 pm, ( I have 8 adopted kids so it is busy here) lay there trying to sleep till about 2-3 am then I finally fall asleep. I then proceed to wake at least 3-5 times and wake up for the day around 8-9 am. I feel like if I could just sleep well then I would feel better but the pain is keeping me from sleeping well! Also my brain does not seem to shut off! I can lay there (asleep) worrying about the dumbest things! for example, We had a bunch of snow here lately and even though my oldest knows how to check to see if her school is closed I was constantly waking to check the website even though I knew they would not announce it till 5 am but still I was up many times before that checking. > > There are even times when I will make a dinner and then sit down with my family and only be able to take a bite or two because I am too tired. I don't like driving anywhere any more because it takes so much out of me and my arms hurt too badly as well as my neck. Guest guest
HI , Sounds like how I started out. My difference is automobile accident related injuries. I never know if it is fibro, neuralgia or other old injuries. I did have endometriosis & a hysterectomy while in my early twenties. I didn't even think of that one until you mentioned it.....I don't always remember things. Buts whats new : ).... The snow here don't help much either. The extremely cold weather seems to have sent me off on another flare which seems to never end lately. I would settle for 20 good minuets of no pain right now. teri > > Hello all, > > > > I have not been diagnosed but the doctor did mention this as a possibility.
