Thank you Charity - I was hurt when I read Melody's response. It was demeaning

and hurtful.

All I was saying is that since people constantly complain about these illnesses

being invisible - so maybe they shouldn't try to hide the few things that are

visible. At first I did hide everything - but that confused people when I was

ill. At least people at work got so they knew if my face was beat red I was

probably having a rough day. Trust me, no one at work ever gave me an iota of

pity.

It was just an attempt at understanding. I guess vanity is way stronger in some

than it is me.

Besides, I never found makeup that didn't make the rash itch and burn worse

anyway. So it was a relief to stop caking it on. No wonder people don't

understand if you try so hard to hide it from them.
