I just love your attidude, Ruthie............you inspire me to always find the

good in everything. Very healthy. Someone shared a link that I read about

keeping your mind off your pain, lessens the pain. How true. I'm feeling

better that all the holiday stuff is over.

I took myself off the amitriptiline, and tommorrow nite I will start the

lyrica. Wish me luck, hope my brain on drugs feels just like yours. lol

an appointment today and made the mistake of wearing boots with heels and that

has thrown my back out of line so it is the only thing twinging. The rest of me

is OK. Just found out though that I need new glasses which is going to set me

back about $700 big ones. Oh well, only money, right? My biggest pain is in my

wallet right now. Heading for the jammies and crocs and a nice hot drink. Rain

Thanks, Judy. I try. I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said " folks are about as

happy as they make up their minds to be " . I think that is true. I can think

myself miserable or happy. And if I keep my mind off of my pains, they are truly

a lot less.

Today I put up a platform bird feeder, a two sided suet feeder and a bluebird

house. Did it in between rain storms. Boy did we have rain coming down sideways!

And thunder! My little dog was so scared she got into the pantry and hid,

shivering and crying. Poor baby. Even one of the cats was scared. I didn't get

too much sleep last night, that's for sure. It finally all let up this

afternoon.

A bit stiff in the shoulders but not too bad. I think this Lyrica really helps.

I go back to the doc in March and we will see what he thinks about the dosage.

I know what I want for my birthday. One completely pain free day. Working on

that.
