Guest guest
I took amitriptiline and put on 50 pounds and it didn't do anything else for me. When I was taken off of it, I lost the weight. That's my experience with it. Guest guest
I have been taking Trazadone for years too with good results. I have never taken Amitriptyline, but know people who have. Wish I could be of more help. Marti Adela wrote: I have been taking Trazadone (100mg.) for years. and it seems to work well. I like it very much. But my doctor suggested that I try Amitriptyline.(50mg.) cause it can help with the pain more. She gave me one month supply and told me to stop taking the Trazadone and to try this. Which one is better? I went to Webmd and they are both in the same family of medicine. Ya! antidepressants. I don't like that Amitriptyline can cause Yellowing of the skin. That means it is hard on the liver. It will be interesting to see what you all take and what affects you have. thanks Adela
Guest guest
Hello all...I have been on Amitriptyline for years now...I have no complications from it (that I know of ). I can't say it's helped much, but of course right now nothing is helping...I know that's not much help and I do apologize...
