Guest guest
Hi, I've had fibro for about 13 years, but 7 years ago I started having terrible pain in first one heel and then both heels. I went thru multiple doctors and podiatrists and had multiple treatments including casting, temporary casting, shoe inserts, and other treatments. Most every doctor agreed it was Achilles tendonitis, but no treatment seemed to help. Long story short - I am still suffering everyday with this and I think it is related to fibro. I have problems with tendonitis and bursitis in multiple areas of my body. Unfortunately, I have had to accept the pain as part of my life - along with the other pain of fibro. It is difficult to walk and the pain interferes with my sleep - I have to put both feet on a pillow so that my heels don't touch the mattress and I have to make sure the sheet and blankets are not to heavy to weigh down my feet. I hope for your sake it goes away - I would see a podiatrist if you can. Make they can help you.
