OK, folks, I gotta weigh in on this. I've restrained myself as long as

I can (OK, OK, so the encephalopathy is the real culprit, and I had to

wait for my hubby to help me out on this).

1. We met and shook hands with Marcel Marceau (he was speechless) on his

last USA tour in 1995.

2. I'm a direct descendant of the Conqueror (yes, my Mom is an

avid genealogist).

3. My hubby's grandfather was a close lifelong friend of Jimmy Burns

(Associate Supreme Court Justice under F.D.Roosevelt; state Senator from

SC; Governor of SC; Secretary of State of the USA).

4. My hubby claims to be a legend in his own mind (OK, so this one isn't

quite as valid as the others!).

5. And, of course, every TRUE southerner claims to be related to

E. Lee, whether we are or not!!

We PSCers seem to be a pretty noteworthy bunch!! I've really enjoyed

reading all these.

I must confess – I still watch All

My Children! I seem to like that much more than the reality shows! I began

watching AMC in the 70s when I went to college – there were a bunch of us

and we would schedule our classes around the show. What a life eh?

I'll add my little bit on famous people:

Bush (the father) was

at my brother's wedding 10 years ago. He is

good friends with my sis-

in-law's family. Obviously, we are peons to

my sis-in-law's family.

Mr. Bush was very nice when I met him briefly.

Any soap opera fans? If you used to watch

" All My Children " in

the '80's, then you should remember Donna Beck

Tyler, etc (many last

names). Her name is Candi Earley and she is

from my home town and I

know her; however, my mother knows her much

better.

One more, I got to meet Chuck Berry in the Newark airport.

This has been fun finding out who knows who!
