Sex and BF and Birth Control

As for the sex drive ... I nursed my first for about 18 mths and don't recall

loosing my sex drive. Now for this baby...she is 5 mths today (exclusively

breastfed) and I still have interest in having sex but am tired. So, I skip

it some times! DH seems to have even less interest than I do! He works

long hours and is tired too.

And about getting your period...With my first, I got on the DEPO-shot (HATED

IT!!!) and didn't have a period for a long time. With this baby, I am just

using BFing as natural birth control and still haven't had a period. I

notice some spotting occasionally. Anyone know why this is? or notice it

too? But, still no real menstrual cycle. But, I am interested in getting on

Birth Control (BC) soon. Anyone have a good suggestion for a BFing mother

using BC? I was thinking of the diaphragm but have chronic urinary tract

infections! So that scares me. I intend to BF until she self weans, so I

will be at it for a while.

Ds, my first, wasn't bf and I got my period back right away and started

right back on the ill. With Keely I didn't get a period until Keely was 1

year, three weeks old. Dh and I didn't trust bfing to work 100% and I

didn't want to go back on the pill so we just used condoms. The one night

we were spontanious in June resulted in #3 due March 13th! lol Now it's dh

turn to get the big V, after the baby is born, unless he agrees to #4 which

I'm open too :-)
