Guest guest
I must say that I don't believe I had FM in childhood. I DO HOWEVER recall that I always required more sleep than most people even before the beast reared his ugly head. I use to tell people I need 10 to 11 hours of sleep a night to feel good. Most of them just thought I must be crazy. I do believe my mom had FM to some extent now that I look back. I see the signs that were not then recognized. Mine started with just numbness and tingling in the fingers in my late 20's. And of course, the all the time tired feeling. (not the extreme fatigue I have now though). It was not until about the age of 39 or 40 that the damn thing attacked me really bad. That was when I realized that something was very wrong with me. I do believe, of course, that children can and do get FM. I just hope that mine don't. It is a fear I live with that these beautiful little shining lights in my life could wind up with this someday. They show no symptoms as of now. love and hugs, Debra V. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
