Oh sweetie. I hate it. I honestly rarely get pain to the point of tears so I

guess I am lucky. I did once though. It was in my hands and stayed there for

weeks....burning, numbness, tingling back and forth. Horrendous pain.

If you hurt that bad, it would not be a bad idea to go to the ER. However,

let me warn you... it depends on what kind of people are working there. I went

with that episode once in the middle of the night... about 3am... I cried all

the way to the ER. I unfortuantely had a doctor and a nurse that treated me

like drug trash off the street. They acted like I was just seeking a fix. All

I asked for was a steroid injection. They finally did give it to me and a shot

of Toradol. (I did not know I had fibro yet either... I was diagnosed within a

week after that trip to the ER).

Honey, just have tough skin. If they don't treat you right .... don't take it

to heart. BUT, DO NOT miss out on some pain relief if there is a possibly that

you can get some relief. You may run into a good doctor that knows what this

shit is and wants to help you.

Ultimately, my answer is YES, go. But just don't take it too hard if they act

like they don't believe you. Not all doctors are like that though.
