Guest guest
We have these huge medical groups in WI, one of which is Aurora, and I go to one of their clinics. Our charts are on computer, so they can bring up our data in seconds, and if a drug needs to be called in, they can do it with a click of the mouse. Guess that is one advantage to the large group. There are disadvantages as well. And as far as record from 10-20 years ago, I believe the paper records are destroyed after a certain period of time. Jeanne in WI Angie said, " I know mine relies on paper files. They have about 12 doctors in 3 different types of practices (ped, gyn, and family). They only use their computer system to track where the files are physically, and the accounting stuff. They would have to go manually through every one of those files. However, your pharmacist will know the minute you try to refill the Rx. > > My Rh does have medical records in a computer system. However, there is > limited indexing of the fields.
