Guest guest
Okay, just before I went into the hospital, I got my notice that I was turned down on reconsideration. Now, this was before the fibro dx and also before the acute mono dx and the COPD dx (all of which I got between the rheum and the hospital). Does anyone know if these additional dx are going to make a difference? My long-term disability carrier has provided me with a lawyer who is handling everything. I am working on not getting discouraged. I know I cannot work the full-time job I used to. I have days where a shower and brushing my teeth and really really basic housework (feather duster) or cooking (making it at the table sitting down) is all I can accomplish any more. I am trying to remain positive. I believe that ultimately we will " win " . I think its a crying shame that we have to fight like hell for benefits we deserve when there are those who get them with seemingly no effort.
