Fire, training and Fibro bad combo

Well it seems that since friday I've been a rather busy bee. First thing

Saturday morning Pat and I got up, got dressed and headed over to the fire dept.

He first had us go and pick up the tanker from the second dept. Since we were

having a big traning day. Things were going well, but suddenly it seemed I was

to be the person that was taking pictures, video and watching. Since I am not a

fully trained fire fighter I couldn't enter the building for the traning. So of

course that wasn't a had thing I enjoyed watching and taking pictures problem is

that meant I was no more than a few feet from a burning building all day. We

started the training about 10 am and that meant I was inhailing smoke since we

started. Toward the end I was complaing that I was having a hard time breathing.

So pat took the camera from me and sent me to have a nice sit down with the

medics, now that was a total of three different members of the dept that had

gone to see the medics

that day, but I was the one that was having a issue since I couldn't breathing.

They put me on oxgyen and had me sit down for a while, I missed the end of the

fire but at least I knew that I had proper care. Yes I know that I wasn't

wearing proper gear to be that close to a fire but they wouldn't give me

anything.

But I knew that I would also pay dearly for going all day on my feet. I have

bad legs, knees, back and such. so what is worse I also went to work the next

day and today of course. And I have to work tomorrow. if I can make it, I am

also sick.

Vicki, what an escapade. I know you really wanted to be there for the training.

But my goodness what you put yourself through. Girl, you better rest now and

stay away from burning buildings for a while. LOL. (of course that is a good

tip for everyone). LOL.

It is nice to hear from you. Hope you are feeling better soon sweetie.

hugs,
