Guest guest
I feel like each day we're given the chance to dramatically change our lives for the better by eating intuitively. I also understand that it can start at any time of the day, which I guess is a step in the right direction (as opposed to a diet, which always " starts tomorrow. " A lot of distractions in my life right now (as in everyone's, I suppose)--my husband was laid off a few months ago (a MAJOR stress), son going off to school soon, me very busy at work, trying not to feel guilty every time I go out with friends, leaving my husband at home alone in the evening after he's been on his own all day, etc., etc. Eating non-intuitively only makes the tough parts of life tougher.Waking up full from too much food late the night before is an unenjoyable feeling. I'm going to try my best to eat only when truly hungry. The distractions are ever-present, some of them fun (haven't mentioned the fun ones!) One thing I have NOTICED is the voice inside my head saying " you've earned the.....(whatever food it happens to be), so go eat it. Never " heard " the voice before--so a start has been made! Have a good day, everyone--going to the funeral tomorrow afternoon of a friend's friend who committed suicide. We are so lucky to be alive!
