I am so sorry about the horrible pain. The swelling.... I don't know. I believe that fibro does cause us to swell contrary to the popular beliefs and research. I don't retaint that much fluid but I do swell some at times. I know my face puffs up some days. I also have been retaining a little fluid in my ankles and feet lately. I believe that fibromyalgia is so under researched that they don't have many answers yet. (at least it is getting there)... I am Debra and live in East Tx.
