That's awesome! I have been eating less volume than I used to. I went home

this past weekend, and got a salad at my favorite restaurant. usually i can eat

the whole thing, but I had to box up over half.

I am ready for my mind and stomach to get on the same team. Last week, I made

dinner, I had a salad bowl and a plate of turkey and veggies. I had a few bites

of each and I was full, but kept eating. It was like I was sad that I had just

made this dinner and I was going to have to " waste " it all. Of course it was

waste in my stomach the same as it could have been waste in trash can. I am

able to throw away some of my food, but being satisfied after just a couple of

bites is scary!

Also, adding a bit of olive oil or butter has helped with the fullness and

satiety factor. A couple of my mother's " fat free " diet no,nos, that has been

instilled in my brain since birth!

I like the visual image of mind/body being on the same team. Something

to keep in mind is that it may take a while for you to really get a

handle on what "full enough" means for you. If you feel like you're

eating to the satisfaction point but you're hungry again pretty

quickly, you may want to experiment with eating a little more to see

how that feels. I know that I'm still learning signals and sometimes I

think I'm eating enough, but I'm not.
