I'm a recovered bulimic (almost 2 years) who has tried everything to find peace with food and body image. Intuitive eating is the only thing that has worked for me. I initially used Overcoming Overeating to overcome my eating disorder, which helped me greatly. Now I am finding continued growth in the work of Geneen Roth. I am working on being more present in every area of my life, especially with eating. I have made a conscious decision to not eat while I am on the computer. I am trying to muster the willingness to not eat while otherwise distracted (reading, TV, etc.) But it feels like punishment to me. I know it's not, but that's how it feels.
