Guest guest
Judy I was on amitriptyline for 19yrs. and was swithed to lexapro and ambien. It took me sveral mos. to finaly establish a sleep pattern so I sooo can relate to your confusion. Chemicals in the brain will be searching for the amiotrip. and that can cause an awefull state of mind but It WILL eventually pass. It takes time. Cymbalta has a norephineprine reuptake inhibitor that is supposed to help the brain turn down the volume of the pain signal. I know that sounds confusing but that is how Cymbalta is supposed to work. I know what your going thru, cahanging meds isn't easy to deal with. Hang in there Judy!! " For this to shall pass " GOD Bless You ! ! ! . . . ......................... . . . I went to my reg. dr yesterday, my Rh sent me to re-evaluate my anti-depressant. My Rh prescribed 75mg of Lyrica at bedtime. So my reg dr takes me off of: . lyrica, amitriptiline, and weaning me off of paxil. And now I should take cymbalta. What's up with that?Anyone else taking just cymbalta for pain, sleeping and anti-depressant.Haven't slept in 2 nites, too much pain - last nite was my first dose of cymbalta omitting lyrica. How long does it take to see if it will work??I'm so confused and so very tired.Judy---------------------------------Looking for last minute shopping deals?
