My suggestion:

Start with today. Keep a paper and pen with you. Everything you do,

write it down.

Take another piece of paper. Think back to yesterday, estimate

times, write down what you did.

Think back to the day before, and as far back as you can, and try to

remember what you did. It doesn't have to be exact times or

anything, just try to capture what you did.

It will probably work out to a block of time in the morning when you

get up, shower and dress, eat breakfast, clean up kitchen. Then, for

example, if you're like me, once or twice a week you do some food

prep. Or laundry. Then you eat lunch. Then you run errands, or

feel bad and have to lie down and take a nap, or whatever you do

during the afternoon. Then, you eat dinner. Then, what do you do in

the evening?

It's easier if you keep an activity and pain log on a regular basis.

You can get an estimate of how many times in a day, or in a week, you

are flattened by pain, how many times you go out for errands or do

laundry or cook during the week, take walks, exercise, sit at the

computer, work in the garden, take the trash down to the curb. Or

how many times you're out using heavy construction equipment. ;D

Your post is a reminder to me of how important these logs are.

I've posted a number of times about logs. I did a search on " pain

log " and " activity log " in the messages, went to www.tinyurl.com, and

converted the searches to tiny url's. Here they are, if you want to

read posts about the pain and activity logs.
