I think having a baby around will be a real eye opener for all of my kids. >:] The teen pregancy rate around here is terrifying. Too many girls in this school district think it's " cute " to have babies by 15. I'm all for anything that discourages them from actively trying to get pregnant until they're at least 21. Guest guest
Jacquie, How long has she been missing? What happened? Gawd, you must be so worried about her. Debbie Re: Oedipus yes Jacquie H Re: Oedipus lol...my sister used to say she was going to have 100 kids and they would all be purple. She was going to have 5 husbands and they would be red. And she would be green. And the children would be named Prisioner#1, Prisoner#2, Prisoner#3,.....etc...... and her Husbands would be named Slave#1, Slave#2, Slave#3, and so forth. Of course she is now BP and at the moment missing. ~sigh~ jacquie H

Tina <<<<<<<<<< Boy would I like to be in the same room as the 15 year olds who think it's " cute " . I'd tell them just how " uncute " it is. :/ Penny
Guest guest
Awwww ellen... We went thru the " I-cant'-stand-baby-crys " too with Jacqui...Now when a baby or child cries she NEEDS to know what's wrong. ,,,,and you haven't lived until you've lived with a child who melts down when you cough...oh MAN! That has to be on the list of one of the worst times....You know how hard it is to stifle a cough? Dh is still not allowed to whistle, hum, or tap his fingers to music. I just tell him to stop breathing all together ;-) Penny RE: Re: Oedipus That would be too. Until it cried ONCE, then he would EXPECT it to cry all the time, and he'd freak constantly. Hubby and I can't watch Jay Leno, because we laughed too hard once, and thought we were crying. Now, whenever he wakes up and Leno is on (he sleeps in our room), he points at the tv and does his bird noise until we turn off the tv. :-( ellen

But you just never know with her. ~sigh~ I think it has been over 6 months since her last flight. > Jacquie H She's still so young, too, in terms of bipolar -- unless of course she had childhood onset? If it was late teen onset, she's still in the worst of it. Good luck. I hope you can locate her soon. Jacquie
Guest guest
Oh yeah, we've been through the " you can't cough " stage. UGH!! Also, the " can't blow your nose or sneeze " Not good when you have allergies. :-( Can't laugh either. Saying certain names is a no-no too. Like the names of his teachers or the kids in his class, which is unfortunate, because on of them is , which is his uncle's name. We have to try and remember to say " Uncle " . :| ellen RE: Re: Oedipus That would be too. Until it cried ONCE, then he would EXPECT it to cry all the time, and he'd freak constantly. I could put you in touch. I'm not sure it would do any good. We're in Hickville and the attitudes are ingrained since birth. ( Tina
