I have never heard of this, BUT....I DO think it is possible. I would surely

check into it more. I am sure Wendi or has more input on this.

No. Because we thought it was thrush, there wasn't a need to. However, now

that I've been through the wringer trying thrush treatments, I am going to

push for a culture of Holden's bottom and my nipples. Tried to get a hold of

the OB today but they were closed (who the heck closes at 3 p.m.??)--so

tomorrow I'll be assertive.

Although, if it is a strep or staph infection, wouldn't the Trimox that I was

on for mastitis have cleared it up?

Sounds like a food allergy to me.--his rash, but anything is possible. Do

you have The Baby book by Sears?? He discusses just that type of rash.

And...did you call your dermatolagist yet??

At this point with what you have been through I could believe it. Have they

ever done a culture on your nipples?

I am brainstorming again about the cause of my nipple problems...and with the

help of my About.com guide...we came up with this...do you think it could be

a legitimate idea???

Holden has this little diaper rash, looks like rug burn or a skinned

knee...just in his anus area. It flares up and goes away with the use of an

ointment called Bactroban. ANyway....she suggested that it may be strep (her

son had a strep rash that sounded similar)....and perhaps it's also a strep

infection on my nipples (or staph) and we're just passing it back and forth.

Anyone ever hear of something like this?

I had a section with almost 6 months ago (tomorrow) and get that

feeling too. My OB said it was just the organs going back to normal. Kinda

makes me sad because I know there will not be ant more babies in there.
