I was looking at the polls and noticed that hardly anyone who has a J

pouch does NOT have chronic pouchitis. So why do they do this

operation? Is it for continence reasons? What's the alternative- an

ileosomething?

I'm hoping to hang onto my colon for a while but my (ex-)GI said he

would take it out if he found polyps. Which I have to say worries me

more than facing a liver transplant.

My husband reminded me that the Borg woman, Seven of Nine, on Star

Trek Voyager was very attractive. Of course she didn't face quite the

same issues with HER body modifications!
