Guest guest
Okay, here's what I do with my meds; it may sound nuts to some, but it's working for me and I haven't missed any yet! The ones I take 2x a day are on top of the breadbox. I literally turn them upside down once I have taken them (so if I see them upside down later in the day I know I haven't taken them yet). The strange ones that are in the middle of the day, I put out on the counter as a visual reminder that I have to take it (my protonix specifically since it can't be taken with my morning meds). My Lyrica is taken then put with my bedtime meds. The ones I take 1x a day are in the breadbox and I am very methodical - I take out all the bottles, and then put them back as I get the pills out. Special occasions - i.e. being sick and taking antibiotics - go in front of the breadbox....lol..... The nebulizer stays on the kitchen counter (which DH hates but too bad, I need it to breathe!). The nighttime meds are on my headboard in the bedroom. I toss all the bottles on the bed and one by one I take them, putting them back. The Lyrica gets put on the nightstand so I remember to take it out for the next morning. Pain meds for breakthru pain are on a shelf on the headboard that I can reach without getting out of bed if I have to. Anyhow, that's what is working for me and I just counted - I take a total of 24 diff meds every single freaking day, some of them 2x a day. Sigh.....I can remember when all I took was my thyroid pill and a multivitamin! Darlene > > Yes, I worry about that, too. I used to use the pill containters, but I've > stopped. It's my nightime meds that worry me. Last night, I was asking > myself, did I already take these? If I ever goof, that's double Cymbalta, > Lamictal, klonopin, flexeril and atenelol.
