Guest guest
Girlsaylor I have had the heart cath and it wasn't as aweful as you might think. I have restrictive cardiomyopathy, my heart is shrinking but w/the meds I'm currently taking I no longer have chest pains and the shortness of breath doesn't seem to be as bad as it was 4 yrs. ago when I had the procedure done. You are in my prayers as well as the technicians preforming the procedure. May GOD Bless YOU ! ! ! . . ........................ . . . I don't know why I'm undone over this one, as I've gone through so much health stuff. Nurse will call me week of the procedure to discuss meds, prep, whatever. I'll have to take my bipap in to get clearance to have it in the hospital, as doc said I should plan to be in overnight, given my lung disease. But if I've got blockage anywhere, maybe this will take care of it...Today I was so tired. Took the car in to the shop early this AM, shot half a day doing that. Slept a couple of hours and then gave my cat a much-needed bath. He looks pretty silly right now! Made dinner for hubby and washed up dishes, then watching movie with DH. I could go to bed right now and probably sleep through the night, I'm so tired. Maybe low oxygen, at least that's what they're hoping to rule out with the cath.girlsaylor _________________________________________________________________ Connect and share in new ways with Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com/share.html?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_sharelife_012008
Guest guest
Thanks for the prayers and support . Just what I need, ya know. It's not the heart cath, per se, that I'm concerned about. It's the waking up and finding out they've done something corrective. It's an emotional thing for me. Put it this way: In my family history, nobody gets off this earth without major heart surgeries, pacemakers, angioplasty, valve repair/replacement. We have all the problems that can go wrong with the human heart, in multiples in my family. It just seems we have weak genes or something, in this area, (as well as very strong family tendencies toward depression and personality disorders). I just don't wanna wake up with more carvings in addition to the already 3 for hip surgeries. argh girlsaylor > > > Girlsaylor I have had the heart cath and it wasn't as aweful as you might think.
