Monday night rant

Today was better. I had a rough night last night but finally woke up feeling

better. This afternoon I sort of pushed myself to take the kids bowling. I

needed to get out and move some. The older bowling alley has $1 games on

Mondays so I scraped together a few dollars and we went. I played about 1 1/2

games before my hip started bothering me. So that was it for me. Oh and the

place is non-smoking also. We had a good time.

We had something funny happen tonight. The twins came and told me there was an

owl in our chimney. They heard it whooting. I went and looked but didn't hear

it so I went out front (after we closed the flue because the girls were worried

about it coming in) and it had moved from our roof to the front yard. There

are actually two. Sitting out there whooting. The girls got a kick out of

it.

We have cold and snow all weekend and it's supposed to continue all week.

IIt's not really sticking much; mostly at night and then most of it melts during

the day. Of course the cold is making me hurt pretty bad; but I'll make it

through. I love the snow; so as long as it keeps snowing I can tough out the

pain. I hope. LOL.

I don't understand something. If we are indoors with our heated blankets and

all; why does the cold still bother us? Is it barometric?

Does anyone work out? and does it help? I sure hope the Lyrica doesn't put too

much weight on me because I need to lose weight and the Lyrica has really been a

help.

Well its 1:30 and time for me to try to sleep. My 'pup' Rockie (he's already

taller than my son's 85 lb. dog) has become so clingy he has to go to sleep ON

me. Either right up against me or across my legs. So he's on my legs sleeping

and Penni is next to me snoring. They look so comfortable I think I'm going to

give it a try.

Sweet dreams!!
