Normally I would never ask people to pass on a message to their entire mailing list as these are traditionally denial of service attacks. However this appears to be a true warning (based on the link at the bottom of this message) and since I know some of you are probably using these products or have children that are using them, I felt it important to notify you - you may do whatever you think best with this info: This information was sent to me by my colleagues at Blue Cross. Please pass it on. IMPORTANT!!! All drugs containing Phenylpropanolamine are being recalled. You may want to try calling the 800 number listed on most drug boxes and inquire about a REFUND. Please read this CAREFULLY, as I know that some of you may USE some of these drugs (Alka Seltzer Plus for one). Also, please pass this on to everyone you know. STOP TAKING anything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in brain) among women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use of medication. Problems were not found in men, but the FDA recommended that everyone (even children) seek alternative medicine. Guest guest
Would any doctor reading this please comment on the significance of these tests. Do these simply indicate a history of exposure, no matter how minor. Or do they indicate a major problem causing exposure. Also, any lawyers, please comment on the use of such tests in real court cases. ----Original Message Follows---- From: mary flores <marbme12@...> Subject: Re: [] (no subject) Date: Sat, 13 Apr 2002 20:35:38 -0700 (PDT) Yes, There is a test called an ig and igg. Guest guest
WHO CAN DO THESE TESTS!!!!!! I KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN EXPOSED AND I AM CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT IS IN MY SYSTEM. DO I JUST ASK MY DR. TO DO THE TESTS ARE DO I HAVE TO GO TO SOME KIND OF SPECIALISTS??? I AM SHOWING NO SIGNS OF BEING SICK AND I HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO THE MOLDS FOR OVER A YEAR. SHOULD I WORRY AND FIND SOMEONE TO DO THESE TESTS???
Guest guest
Dear Liz, Your private physician can do the test if he will, you can request it and see his response, some health dept. will do the tests, and most likely a specialist such as a toxicologist or allergist will order them. Several labs have capability of testing across U.S. I can't specifically endorse any but Quest Diagnostics did mine, if that helps. If you aren't sick then your mold may not be toxic, or you may have a great immune system. Most of us would only be thrilled to be in your shoes healthwise, but unfortunately most of us are not. , NTMC www.geocities.com/marbme12/NTMC.html --- LIZALLISON2@... wrote: > WHO CAN DO THESE TESTS!!!!!! Guest guest
Carl, To my knowledge it is the ig and igg for stachybotrus chartarum. I will have to look up the code and get back to you. I am bogged down in legal papers this week and presently getting ready to go to trial. As some of you know I am having to try my own case. Guest guest
We have Doctors helping us. We need Lawyers or Law Firms. The Government crooks cannot be allowed to get away with what they have done to my family. Ken We have just gotten more Medical and Laboratory results back from our Doctor's and they are not good. We have to have more extensive Pulmonary testing done for the Toxic Mold effects on our lungs. The Toxic Mold is also destroying our bodies Immune System. It is doing it to all of us including my eight year old Granddaughter, Bridget. How much more punishment must my family suffer so that Government officials and their illegal and corrupt acts can be covered up? My entire family are victims of the most heinous types of crime, Government corruption and indifference. Massachusetts, PLEASE SAVE MY FAMILY! Guest guest
, Thanks for your response. My doctor said the stone is about 1cm, if I remember correctly and it was noticed visibly through the sonogram. If I'm not in any danger I am definitely going to avoid the surgery and I'll try a flush regardless. Which flush do you recommend so that I will not get violently ill as I 've heard some say can happen. Thanx,
