Welcome . We have a couple other 's as well, so you might want to

use a last initial or nickname to distinguish yourself or even your state.

It seems that FM is rooted in problems with our nervous systems. Since

caffeine is a stimulant, this would exacerbate the problem. I allow myself

one diet soda a day. Now this potentially contains 3 irritants, the

caffeine, the nutrasweet, and the carbonation, but as I keep it at one, I

seem to be able to handle it.

When I used to work full time, I drank usually 3 diet sodas a day,

sometimes four. Good luck with going back to work. It was after a medical

leave that I took 10 years ago, when I seemed to completely break down and

was unable to return to the work force. Keep us posted on how you are
