I read your reply but I didn't get the question. I am on Robaxin(muscle relaxer

and 300mgs. Lyrica per day but no RX pain meds. I take generic aleeve and

arthritus acetamenaphin o and ibuprofen and like you I alternate.

The Genasec may have diphenhydramine(benadryl) in it which might be what Knocks

you out. I have disabled

for 15yrs for two other conditions so I do have part D medicare to cover my

scripts it's that no DAMN Dr. has the ****** to give me any RX pain meds that

work. Tramadol only pis***** me of and Darvacet doesn't even touch my pain so

when I hurt alot I stay in bed w/a heating pad and bengay type creams.

Bless YOU ! ! ! . . . .......................................

Re: ~~~Update~~~ with a follow up question thrown in

I know it's so hard to live without RX meds if you've been on them for ages,

especially with the pain. I personally haven't been " truly diagnosed " so I am

doing all my pain management OTC, which isn't easy, because I can't use the same

pain medication three times a day, it stops working after twice, so I alternate

every six hours or so. Last night was so bad I had to use one I almost never use

because it knocks me out. It's called Genasec, and ONE PILL can knock me out.

The bane of being tiny, let me tell you. I have a question for everyone. I know

that size can cause as many difficulties as it solves. I am, and pretty much

have always been little. When I say little, I mean, 100 lbs. 5'1 " tall, still

called little girl, little. I also have nearly no meat on my bones, in fact,

have lost quite a bit of that over the past several years. Is this a consequence

of the beast we live with and its many cousins? I suffer allergies, which can

cause asthmatic conditions as a result. I am not on asthma or other medications

because I have also had problems just affording medical care. I haven't had

insurance in years, because we're just too tight budget wise to manage affording

it. Free clinics only go so far, and won't do as much as they did in the old

days. Doctors don't barter, they want money. If they lived like I do, they'd

wonder how I ever manage to find a pair of matching socks every day for anyone

in the household, clothes that fit any one of my four prairie weeds for legs

children, they grow so fast. You can't get disability without doctors and you

can't get to a doctor without insurance or actual cash. I'd love to find a tree

that grows money, it would sure help those of us sitting between rocks and hard

places.PS , I am very glad that your new cat is helping even in its

small way. Having my dogs does the same for me. If I wasn't allergic to cats I'd

probably have as many cats as I do dogs. We take care of a stray cat outside,

because I can't have her inside. She adopted us because her family abandoned

her. Just having the dogs here helps so much, they are so calming for me. I have

a Pomeranian and a Pomeranian mix.>> > Hi Friends ! ! ! Just wana let you know though I've had some bad days

there have parts of the days that have been meaningful to me. Three days working

around the house results in two days spent in bed on a heating pad w/blue ice.

I've accomplished several things. I've refused to just do nothing as that would

be to simply giving in. > > New Kitty cat has been a blessing, she greets me 1st

thing in the morning waiting for her 1st can of food so to her I'm #1. The

comfort she has to offer has been great. Her name is Snoopy as she is getting

into evrything around the house but that's is ok.> > Learning to live w/out RX

pain meds has been difficult but I AM managing fairly well. I decided not to

allow the pain stop me. I pace myself in evry task I take on as not to end up in

to much agony.> > Soon I will start reading every post and replieng to the ones

I feel like I have something to contribute to.> But for the past week or so I

have just been skimming over most.> > GOD Bless You All ! ! ! . . .
