Dizzy spells and spinning

Beginning on Thursday, I walked about five feet from the computer

stand to pick up something in the living room. I had awoken that

morning with the first replication of my first attacks of what I now

know is fibro in many years. When I stood up after reaching down for

whatever it was I was after, I felt as if the room was spinning and

that I wasn't certain I would not fall. I then stumbled back to the

computer, called the massage therapist to cancel an appointment I had

later that afternoon. I had been having episodes of what I am

calling " listing " (forgot what sister the nurse described it in

medical terms), I called doctor's office, she out on her day off

(amazingly, she apparently uses that day to go to see patients in

hospice and also home bound patients!) Told her assistant what was

happening, she said if it gets worse go to emergency room, otherwise

call back Friday am. I am finding myself staggering some when I walk

up the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom, so I mention all of this

to husband! He says I am " just light headed from bending over! "

Talk to sister the nurse, she says could be inner ear problems.

Anyone out there who has had similiar problems? and if so, have you

seen a doctor and what may they have diagnosed condition as??? I

know some people could call me by the old term " she's dizzy " which

had an entirely different meaning but this is becoming very annoying!

And with that question, I have several other things to do on computer

and then it is back to bed for me!
