Guest guest
Hello from California! Can't wait to read everyone's posts about the conference. I'm hoping that there will be some kind of CD made available summarizing the conference and including some of the lectures (Daivd has already replied, no further reply requested here) My question is maybe more for the California support group: We're visiting my family now in the Los Angeles area (we reside in Israel). I have arranged to receive the "mail-in blood work kit" from Dr. Bowlus, which I have indeed received. He told us that we could really go anywhere to get the labs done, but I'm not sure this is really true, the medical system here seems to be so incomprehensible (I just spent 4 hours in the E.R. myself waiting to see a doctor) Dr. Bowlus wrote a very detailed cover letter instructing whomever "how to", who to bill, where to send the material, complete with a FEDEX label. I was wondering if maybe someone could steer us in the right direction before we get frustrated by getting turned away. We do have traveler's medical insurance so we can't be turned away. Where would be the best place to go to get these labs done? UCLA? Thank you! Warm regards to all, Ellen (wife of PSC 2002, cholecystectomy 2006) Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo!
