Woe

Woe, the disheartening heartsend in the murderous melody you softly sang.Injecting lonely and hopeless realityinto my self induced blissful mirage. The lighthouse beacon now shining.A very far reaching luminous shadowshowing what is, or rather, what is not.My enchanted daydream; That love's seed had been found and plantedin my life's garden of weeds overgrown.

Woe, the bites from coiled poison snake angelslying there in hiding, waiting with knife and fork in hand. The repetitious ritual as eons come and go.I thought in delusional certaintythat you were that ever elusive seedfinially found...Twas not to be,so I return to never.Home known oh too well.

Woe, in another jagged shardof my broken glass existancenow added to the collectionfor my already bloodied feet to tread on,walking my journey to nowhere-To you, not there.Love not there.
