Husband's surgery postponed

The doctor called. (one of the surgeons). He said that they could not do the

surgery we so carefully planned for this Friday. It sucks. d/h is so

frustrated.

Ok, the VA hospital is good but it seems they have a new round of docs that

come in about every 3 months. Just when one of them gets to know him and

studies what is going on with him, another doctor comes in and that one leaves.

This one said the specialist that was going to do the surgery can't be there as

planned. He also said he wants d/h to have another appointment so he can

personally see what is going on. (use the scope to look at the urethra). I

understand the doctor not wanting it done right now, but why the helll can't

they communicate better before they leave and give the case load to another

physician????

They have his chart and all the documentation.... but they still don't seem to

realize what is happening.
