Guest guest
Thx to all who replied. I'll be calling Stedman's on Thursday to see what's up. I also ordered a Spellchecker Plus update about 6 weeks ago and haven't received that either. I had an incident with FedEx in November that really makes me wonder. A FedEx driver dropped a package on our front porch and happily drove off. It was addressed to someone else, on another street, in another neighborhood. I waited for a bit thinking he would realize he made a mistake and come back for it. No such luck. I called FedEx and they told me to put the package back on the porch and they would have a driver pick it up. It sat there for 2 weeks. I have never heard back from them. I finally ended up dropping it in a nearby FedEx dropbox. Great customer service, huh? Dawn C. §(ºoº)§ M-TEC Student IC, Ortho - 1+ years, IM AIM: fasthands47 is there such a word as kyphoplasty? The patient has kyphosis and the doc stated that he was going to do a kyphoplasty. I know that that would mean surgical repair of the kyphosis, but I couldn't find it anywhere to verify it. Guest guest
Re: 4th Edition " Whatever happened to signing for our pkgs??? " It probably slows delivery down too much and then, of course, so many people are working during the day there are fewer people home to sign. I once had UPS throw a package over a 6-foot fence in the rain while we were out of town for a week. He did leave a notification slip on the front door - our neighbor found it in her yard. LOL. Guest guest
Don't get me started on the USPS. We have the most incompetent personnel in our town. We have made complaints for years (we have been here over 20 years) about mail be returned, delivered to the wrong address, etc. One time they " misplaced " my very large one-month paycheck from one of my clients. I finally had to ask the office to issue a new check. Three days after receiving the new check the old one showed up. I have no clue where it was. My husband receives checks in the mail from his customers, as well, and they are returned on a regular basis for the " wrong address. " We used to have a PO box, as there was no delivery, then they told us we would have better mail service in a " community box " (who every dreamed up that one?). If we get mail with our old PO box number on it PLUS the street address, it gets returned to the sender. This is a small town of less than 2200 people, and you would think after 20 years someone would know us. Sorry, but you started it! -- Re: 4th Edition Same thing happened to me. Thankfully the misplaced pkg was my neighbor two doors down, so I sat the pkg on the front step as he was not home. Whatever happened to signing for our pkgs??? is there such a word as kyphoplasty?
