Guest guest
Hi Margaret, It's not you I have days I look at something one way and it something other then what I thought it was, I just blame the meds (lol). My DH is on pills for now and hates every minute of it, he thinks the shot would be easier. I try to explain but with the side effects from the stroke he doesn't really understand. He had major mood swings and would yell all the time, so I told the doctor and he put him on a med to help with it and it seems to be working so far (THANK YOU). There where day's that both of us had the mood swings and all ____ broke out in our house. See he can't except what happened to him (he is only 47)and he still thinks this is all a joke and he wasn't as bad as he was and so on...... I had to ask the doctor to put me on something stronger for my depression just to deal with him. The stress in house sometimes you can cut with a knife. As far as his sugar levels he has been pretty good (as long as he listens to me and doesn't sneak something), they have been around 104 - 124, once in a blue moon he will go up to 137 - 147. I try to keep him under 150 and since he got this (in July,2007)only once he went over (171) and that was around halloween when he got into the girls candy. Believe me we started to get very creative as to where the hidding spots where for their bags of candy. I do love him alot but there are days I want to scream " I am in worse pain then you grow up " , then I think how selfish am I to just think about me and then I go into a crying fit for alittle while and everyone looks at me like I am crazy (this time they have the right to though, lol). I have found some days I joke alot or try to find something funny in what ever he is trying to do, because if I don't the stress level goes up and so does the pains. luaghing sometimes help better then all the meds they have me on! LOL. Thank you for caring {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} Tina > >> Hi Margret, > > I wanted to say thank you for the kind words, and that I am sorry to > > hear about your husband.
