Guest guest
Hi everyone: So sorry to hear of Gloria's and others difficulties. I am praying for you all. My MRI came back normal which is good news but need some information if any of you know anything about this. I am still in terrible pain from my upper arms. Can't hardly write this due to the aching and weakness. Am struggling greatly to get through the day. I just got a copy of the labwork from the lab ( got it before the doc who ordered since I work for a doctor) and my ANA came back 1:1280 ( negative is 1:40, borderline 1:80, positive 1:160) Needless to say the ANA is elevated and must be what is causing my pain. I contacted the doc but haven't heard anything. Looks like from test result listing that it is Homogenious which is indicative of Lupus. Interesting when I did some research that Lupus can cause eyelid droop which I have had lately. Would like to ask for any information or experience people have with elevated ANA since my rheumy is not very astute with helping me. I am calling today to demand a consult with pain management specialist because I'm afraid I'll lose everything if it continues this way. I am very upset that they don't take into consideration all the pain and will only give 2 Vicodin a day. I certainly don't want to be drugged, but I need to be able to try to live some kind of life. I can't be a mom to Caitlin and give her any quality of life at this point if it continue to get worse. Again, would appreciate any information on elevated ANA since once again I am sure I will have to do most of the work on finding info on this out myself. Would like to find out what I have other than RP since RP does not usually present with elevated ANA. Don't mean to sound discouraged here, but just tired of the pain. I know there are so many in much worse shape than me, so I will focus on praying for them and hope God takes mercy on me too. Thanks everyone for any information and I hope this post finds those of you in pain or in need of God's love receiving it today. Take care, Cath
