Guest guest
Sorry group. I am just so frustrated right now. I appreciate you being there. I sent this letter to , my husband, because I am sick and tired of not being understood. I am now crying with frustration of the lack of understanding. I love you all, Debra V. debra van ness wrote: Sorry. But damn it.... I guess I will write this to the group and then send it to the d/h since he does not seem to hear a damn thing I say. I STAYED ON THE COUCH ALL DAY because I am sick...... I DID NOT STAY ON THE COUCH ALL DAY SO I CAN GET UP AND FEEL GREAT..... NO, I do not feel better sometimes even if I am in bed or laying on the couch for 18 hours of the day. I DO NOT GET RESTED NO MATTER HOW MUCH I am laying down or seeming to sleep. I STILL feel like I NEVER SLEPT last night or today. When you have the flu and go to bed..... do you go to bed because you are sick and then wake up feeling great and have all the energy you need?????? NOPE, you wake up feeling just a shitty as you did when you laid down. NO I CANNOT do all the stuff I should around here on my off days because I AM WIPED OUT... it is called CHRONIC FATIGUE.... it is a great little addition that comes with fibromyalgia. YES I still feel like shit even if I take my medication some days because my body has been OVERDONE for four days with the things others take for granted in life. THings like work and coming home... should be a piece of cake after a nights sleep????? NOT with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. AND no I do not enjoy living like this. Guest guest
Oh (((Debra)))) I am so sorry that you had to resort to that. It's a real bucket of suck sometimes that our loved ones do not understand! As for your sleeping difficulties, and I only mention it because I have it, is have you ever been checked for sleep apnea? I have severe obstructive sleep apnea and have to wear a bi-pap system at night so I continue to breathe. The one thing I've noticed is that while I don't have all that " tony the tiger " energy I did before fibro, well, I can get a good night's sleep (and even dream) which makes the pain more manageable (I don't think I'll ever say bearable because well, it depends on my threshhold that day). It's something to think about.... (((Hugs))) Darlene > Sorry. But damn it.... I guess I will write this to the group and then send it to the d/h since he does not seem to hear a damn thing I say. Guest guest
Oh Debra, sweetie, I am so sorry, I've had it rough as many have over the past week or more. I am so sorry I wasn't sitting here at the computer for you to manage a shout out on the IM. The past week took a ton out of me too. From Friday to Sunday I've been all over town, have put in a new set of bunk beds for my sons and cleaned my house from end to end, save my room, which may never get clean. I know just how you feel. Here I am, today, Monday, the first day of the week and I dread just getting out of bed, but I have no choice. I feel like I just got over the aches and pains, the muscles that protest, the joints that creak and groan, the back that never stops screaming, only to start all over again. No amount of sleep cures it, no amount of medication, and sympathy only extends from this group and others we are part of. Even my mother has a limited supply and her mother, my grandmother, has lived with Polymialgia for sixty years! She wasn't diagnosed until she was 60! My grandmother is still alive at 90, amazing woman that she is, and she's also allergic to aspirin which makes treatment options a fun expression in patience. I thank the powers that be I didn't get that particular allergy or I'd be up the proverbial creek without a paddle or a canoe. Boy, do I sound like someone with the FMS monster or what? Sorry, I know you're in pain sweetie. I want to make you laugh, I want to find a way to help you forget your pain. I hope to do that somehow, some way, and soon. A. Neff Buzz me!! I'm there!! > > Sorry. But damn it.... I guess I will write this to the group and then send it to the d/h since he does not seem to hear a damn thing I say.
