Guest guest
Hello All, I think my Dr. is finally going to give me Minocin, would someone please tell me the dose you should take when just starting? I will be getting 100MG tab. I just don't understand all this, but I am going to give it a try. God Bless All Ann Bell maryannbell@... ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
Hi Phil, I don't know about the GH issue. Your level seems low enough to merit further investigation. My DHEA-S was 57 (70-310 ug/dL) in April. My doc recommended DHEA supplementation, 50 mg/day. DHEA-s rose to 347 by August. I've reduced supplementation to 25 mg./day. So yes, supplement will raise levels. Don't overdo it. Info. & cautions are at: http://www.remedyfind.com/rem.asp?id=401 I don't know if DHEA will help HGH meds. Guest guest
There is an AACE guideline that may be helpful. http://www.aace.com/clin/guidelines/hgh.pdf Brad > > > > I have been looking back at my blood tests and a lot of times the > > result is not in on my copy. Guest guest
Phil, I'd wondered why IGF-1 was included in the Hopkins list of tests; Brad's info. " IGF1 levels are often used as a surrogate measure of GH since it is much more stable. " clears that up. Guest guest
From: http://www.consumerlab.com/results/dhea.asp " Be aware that 7-keto DHEA (also used in supplements) is not the same as DHEA " > Thanks Bruce I was using 7-Keto I read that it is better then taking just DHEA. Yet it never got my levels up so I stopped using it about a year and a half ago. I think I will go back on it but not the 7-Keto type. I allways try to use PhytoPharmica you know when you use them you are getting good stuff. > http://www.myvitanet.com/dhea260capph.html > As for the HGH I am going to talk to my Dr. more I am just sick all the time with one thing or the other. I just got over a bad sinus infection along with Bronchitis I was good for 3 weeks and now I have the same dam thing again. > Phil --
Guest guest
Here is a cut & paste from Cotton Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI@...:cottonfarm7@...:Wed, 17 Nov 2004 15:28:03 ESTSubject:Re: [ASI] Primary Care Physician - who to choose, how to choose-Cotton? [input] [input] [input] [input] Phil............my doc friend is big into the recommendations of Dr. Klatz who wrote: " Grow Young with HGH. " I have been on HGH stimulating amino acids for 2 months and last week I felt like my old self for the first time in a long time..........my doc friend advised me to give these supplements 6 months to determine if they helped me........I thought his advice was sound and if my libido continues to improve, I will be convinced of the benefit..HGH drives every hormone in the body according to my doc freind and Klatz's book..........I dont want to put all of my eggs in one basket but if that is true that HGH drives all other hormones of the body, that to me is a major personal discovery...........I will know more after careful evaluation over the next 4 months. The other is CottonFarm at Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/ he is a lawer. I am not sure what they use but they claim to be doing very good on it. I first saw a show about it some years ago on 60 minutes. I am not if any of the stuff that is sold at these anti-aging medicine sites are any good. http://www.renewyouth.com/hormonesnaging.shtml Phil Bruce Harvey wrote: Phil, I'd wondered why IGF-1 was included in the Hopkins list of tests; Brad's info. Guest guest
I am a big fan of DHEA and HGH. DHEA 50mg ed and HGH .5 to 2iu ed is great. There have been some great results from some recent studies on both. Your numbers are low enough to at least test each one out. Low DHEA is a good marker for adrenal fatigue. > > I have been looking back at my blood tests and a lot of times the > result is not in on my copy.
