North Carolina is May and you don't think I'd come close to Durham

without you hearing from me do you? No way. My plans are to be in

Eastern NC the 17th through the 25th of May and I'll be either traveling

East through Durham area before or traveling West through it afterwards.

Not going to take the same path both ways so I know that either coming

or going will include Memphis, Chattanooga, Asheville, Hickory,

Greensboro, Raleigh-Durham. The other path I suspect will include the

coast on down a bit and then coming across West to Dallas, but I don't

have that part thought through yet at all.

That's like even on the trip I'm about to make, I'm thinking of

returning home a slightly different path. Its less than 50 miles extra

and at least would take me some other places.

Now, I really wish I had the time to go on to Minneapolis on my Chicago

trip or to head to Orlando (where the friend to be mentioned below will

be visiting with her mother) on the 15th and somehow see a friend I

haven't seen in about 28 years. But if I can't right now, I'll find a

way sometime. We talked for an hour and a half yesterday (and she hates

talking on the phone so that says something) and we had talked not long

ago but we were out of touch 27 years as it took me that long to find

her. Yet, when we talk its like we've never been apart. Outside of

family, she's the only person from before 1997 that I truly am dying to

see.
