I'm back for good!

Hello everyone. Well... vacation is all over as of Mon and it's back to

normal.YEAH!! I love vacation, but it's nice to be back home. We went to

the mountains Thurs and came back Sat around 2pm. Maybe now I'll get some

rest.LOL

My grandaughters EEG results came back and she does have a seizure disorder.

They started her on Tegretol and now she will have an MRI. Please keep her

in your prayers. My daughter is having a hard time too. The meds are making

her all cranky and she is too young to understand why. My daughter is a

single mom and deals with this with no relief. I give her sooo much credit.

My daughter is waiting for the test results from the new tests they did on

her. She had an abnormal pap. Will find out this week where she goes from

here.

It's been a lot of stress in July Hope Aug brings us all some relaxation. I

have a rheummy appt on Thurs. (3 hrs away) so I will leave on Wed after my

cardiologist appt and go stay with my sister in law overnight. Hope it isn't

another wasted trip.

I got my MRI results back. Yep.... nothing there (in the brain)LOL. I could

have told them that. My last brain MRI showed it was falling off it's shelf

and the notice I received in the mail said the results were normal. (guess

my brain is the only normal thing I own)lol. I guess I had better make an

appt and find out it my brain is in place or just hanging around, slipping

farther.

Hope I didn't miss too much and I hope everyone is well. Lucy I'm so sorry

to hear that you had to go to the hospital. Hope you are getting better with

each day.

Heidi, have you been staying out of trouble????? That's what I thought.

, How's the downloading going. Sorry that's not funny. Hope it gets

straightened out soon.

Has anyone heard from Lu or is she taking an extended vacation? Lu, I miss

you. Hope you had a wonderful time and your back is much better.

Gail I hope you are getting better each day and Cyrus is doing well. You are

both in my prayers.

Janet and Pete I hope your vacation went well. How is Pete doing?

Well its after 1am and I must get my fanny to bed. Everyone take care and

Welcome back. Glad you had a good time but sure wish you didn't

have other issues to worry you during your vacation.

I can feel so much for your daughter. How hard it must be trying

to deal with her daughters illness. As a single mom, I can only imagine

the heartache she must be going through and the worry. How do you

explain our illness to the children, much less something wrong with them

and they can't understand. They will be in my prayers that God brings

relief to them during this difficult time. Hope your daughter's test

results turn out ok. I do know alot of people who end up ok with

initially suspicious pap results. Try not to worry too much (ha).

Glad your MRI turned out ok. Mine would probably show empty mass.

Not much left of my brain leading into this trial either. Ask doc

if there is slippery brain syndrome since yours doesn't seem to be staying

in any one place. (sorry, couldn't resist)

Hope your cardiologist visit goes ok. Anymore, I don't consider

any doc appt as something that is really going to give me much good news.

Make sure you get routine ECG's to check valves and aorta ok. We

need you to much around here for things like that to happen.

Hope August brings you more relief and peace. I'm praying real

hard for that for you.

Hope Angie is doing ok, I haven't seen anything posted lately? I know

she's not been feeling well and if anyone knows an update I'd appreciate

it.

Lu, how are you doing? I was behind on e-mails so did a e-mail

blitz and tried to skim them and did see a few but not too many lately.

Hope your pain is getting better and you are able to get around more easily.

Gail, Glad to hear your surgery is over and your starting to heal.

Long way to go but hang in there. How is Cyrus doing? I certainly

hope he is doing better and I pray for you and your family with all your

going through too. Did you see the post on the ephedrine. With

all the throat and breathing manefestations he has wonder if docs would

try that since he has had such a difficult time.

Heidi, Did Don retire yet? I know the count down has begun

and was getting close. Hope his retirement brings him some rest.

How much pred is he down too now? How are you feeling? I know

you always worry about others and our RP, but you have a basketful yourself

that they don't know what to do with and I worry about you too. How

is the junk food man doing? Haven't heard update on him lately.

Sounds like he's a Ding-Dong short anyway.

Carmela, so happy to hear you had a good day. It is long deserved

and hopefully will give you some sense of peace. Try not to think

too hard about what lies ahead and listen to your body and arm yourself

with info for docs. I mean blitz them with info, course they may

not even read it. If they do Dr. Silverstein said your health care

system is really difficult to deal with but sounds like your a fighter

and you're gonna get through this. It really does get easier as time

goes on and you learn what does and doesn't happen with your body.

I've come such a long way since a year and a half ago that docs are all

amazed. It can happen to others too.

, hope your doing ok and hubby's arm is getting better.

Probably gives him a little better perpective on what you live with, but

does sound like he's a really good guy anyway.

Well, my best to all and prayers are all with you, even those I didn't

specifically mention.

Each morning before I even get out of bed, I thank God for my daughter,

family and extended family here and pray that God brings us all some relief.

If anything is going to get us through, it going to be him.

Hope you had a GREAT vacation.

Sorry to hear about your grandaughter, but the meds do wonders for keeping

seizures under control. I'll say special prayers for her.

My daughter also had an abnormal pap and I've had them come back that way

too. Usually it's just a mild infection that causes this, so try not to

worry overly much.
