I know it's hard after your body goes through something so major to be ill again so soon. Keep up your spirits, and try to take care of yourself. We're thinking of you! God bless, Amy. MGB hopeful i am back hi everyone, I've been off line for about 2 weeks. Unfortunately I was back in the hospital. I went in a week ago last Saturday with Pneumonia, emetic, dehydration, and hypotension. I tell you when it rains it pours. I've been home a week and been back to my family Dr. twice since home from the hospital and both times he threatened to put me back in the hospital, because the pneumonia antibiotic didn't seem to be killing the pneumonia but, I talked my way out of it. I went back this past Thrus. and he said I was still dehydrated and again threatened to put me back in the hospital, but I talked him into running a liter of fluid in his office and he agreed. I am feeling much better, but still pretty weak. I am 7 weeks post op and have lost 48lbs. I dot know whether its the pneumonia or the surgery, but everything I eat taste slick and make me sick. I sure hope its just the bug. The only thing I can keep down is (believe it or not is Navy beans) go figure. I've been trying to drink as much as possible but sometimes even that makes me sick. Any suggestions? I sure have missed all the e-mail and talking to you guys so anyone out there that believes in the power of prayer please just say a little one for me. I really want to get on the road to recovery and start excreting so this extra fat doesn't turn to mush. Now, let that Dr sock you in the hospital if you need it! I wish I could help, maybe some warm V8?
