I hope today wasn't too bad for you. Today was terrible for Don. It has rained all day. I still remember how you cheered me up when I first began. This is a long and arduous battle. I thank you for making me smile and being there for me, like all of you are. I don't know how I got through so many months of ipf without you all. My mood, like Don's, shifts with the weather. My breathing and coughing too.

When it is raining, the air is so heavy, it is hard to breathe. Just becomes exhausting. Try to kick the AC on and scoot some of that humidity out of the house. It makes such a difference. Some days I have to put on Sweatshirts and turn on the AC just to be able to breathe. Open windows, etc. do not help. I need the Air Conditioning.

My next door neighbor suffers with allergies, etc. Our AC's are running when it is almost cold outside. It just cleans the muck out of the air.

It was nice and sunny here yesturday. I stared early morning and got supper cooked by 5:30. If I do a little at a time, I can do it. I made steak and gravy in the crock pot, green beans, mashed potatoes and a cobbler with fresh strawberries and blueberries. The grandkids love Mamaw meals. 7 went back for 3 helpings of mashed potatoes and gravy. I even had an extra kid come eat. Feeding people makes me happy. Feeding me makes me really happy! I hate convenience type meals. I am all for comfort food. Hence, my second stent going in next week. I have to do better with eating healthy....this is nuts!

Take care of that grumpy man and smile. Did you ever take a day off for YOU?
