Guest guest
Why yes indeedy I am going! I may even wear my Ropers. I had just told Wally this morning that my husband is coming with me but that has changed since then. My friend Liz is coming and possibly another friend. I am about to book a room & stay overnight down there. It's about 1 1/2 back to Lubbock from Snyder and I just don't want to drive back after that long day. See the thing about West Texans is they are so very friendly and will just taaaaaaalllllllkkkkkkkkkk to people. I'm not much on Zydeco or crawfish but it should prove to be a good night. It will be fine, you'll see. See you there Bruce! S, Lubbock, TX NSIP w/PF 12/2006 > > > > > > My first question is pretty dumb -- I get the digest and I think > > I'm > > > seeing the same postings. Guest guest
Zydeco and Crawfish do nothing for me. But i'm excited about this get together and fund raiser. I didn't realize Lubbock was so far. Glad you reminded me that I need to make reservations too. Now got to go search places to stay near Snyder because I'm sure not driving home at 11:00 pm. It's 4 1/2 hours for me. > > > > > > > > My first question is pretty dumb -- I get the digest and I think > > > I'm > > > > seeing the same postings. Guest guest
Good idea. 4 1/2 hours of flat West Texas feels a LOT longer, especially at night. > > > > > > > > > > My first question is pretty dumb -- I get the digest and I think > > > > I'm > > > > > seeing the same postings. Guest guest
OK so now you've made me laugh as well. My friends Liz & Taronna are excited to be coming with me. I could not have come down there unless they were game for it. Sherman is kinda picky about me driving that far by myself at night. Taronna likes Ty England (I don't even know who he is - country music makes my ears bleed). I also don't care anything about crawfish (mudbugs should not even be edible) or Zydeco (it's the only type of music I don't own). Liz is my bestest friend and has actually taken bedpan duty in the hospital, she's that kind of friend. Liz is just going so I could go. They are super. It should be a good night. I have not heard of anybody else coming in though. Surely there are others in Dallas that could make the 4 hour trip to the big city of Snyder? Come on, ya'll.
